House Update 4/12/12

Just a few more of these (hopefully).

We have been really lucky to have a neighbor across the street who is a landscaper, so we are giving him work!  Haha!  So he trenched and did the sprinklers and graded everything for us.  The kids sure had fun for a few days jumping over trenches, playing in the freshly dug dirt and climbing that dirt hill you can see in the first picture.

We had some leftover boulders from doing the rock walls, so we put them in some of the planting beds throughout the yard.

We also put some leftover boulders as seats around this little flagstone patio we decided to do off of the back patio, then we will put in a firepit someday. (We need another half palette of flagstone to finish it.)

We also added some flagstone steps across the front leading down from the front rock retaining wall.

 It looks like because of the Spring weather, we won't be able to get sod yet, but it's nice to get started, and hopefully we'll have grass by the time the kids get out of school so they can stop tracking so much dirt into the house!
