There's no rest for the weary. Literally. Jet lag was setting in, and we had to hit the ground running as soon as we got home. We got home around 10 pm on the 24th. The next day was Katia's 2nd grade program and we went to a friend's surprise 40th birthday party.

The next day was Katia's 8th birthday. It was also her V.I.P. week the next week which meant she got to bring Kermit, the class mascot, home on her birthday and keep him for the weekend. We also filled out a poster with all of her favorites.
