It rained overnight, then started raining again Monday morning. We originally planned to go to Capri on Monday, but because of the rain, we decided to see Sorrento and souvenir shop. We felt waiting a day to go to Capri would give us the best chance to visit the Blue Grotto, which was one of the major things to do on our list.
We grabbed our trusty water-proof jackets and headed out. By the time we got to an awning it was a real down-pour, so we took a little break under some covering and after a few minutes, it let up, so we continued on. The rain ended by late-morning and we enjoyed our sight-seeing/shopping. We happened to find a "factory" for in-laid wood boxes and met Salvatore who makes the boxes. He was very nice and when he asked where we were from, he knew that a lot of missionaries come from Utah. We bought the girls some beautiful music boxes and the boys boxes without music. We were also able to find some majolica (pronounced - my-your-ka) plates for me, and a hand-made lace tablecloth. We enjoyed wandering the streets of Sorrento.

For dinner, we ate at another recommended restaurant: Inn Buffalito. The food here was also very good. I had Spaghetti and Meatballs (come on, I am in Italy I gotta task the original) and Angela had Gnocchi Sorrentino. Both dishes were very good. We finished that off with a chocolate torte dessert.

| Angela's Gelato in Sorrento: White = lemon, Yellow = mango and lemon, Pink = passion fruit, strawberry & lemon (Sorrento is famous for their lemons) |

| Joshua's gelato in Sorrento: Green = Mint, he also had chocolate and Nutella flavors. The nutella gelato was like eating Nutella straight from the jar! |

That chocolate torte looks suspiciously like the plate of Chocolate Lasagne I took at your house last summer...
