Moving In

It's finally here!  The house is completed and we can move in!

On Monday we did the final walk-through.  There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed, but nothing really major, which is good.  We signed the papers on Wednesday.  We picked up the keys on Thursday, and since we had keys and access, I decided we would "camp" at our new house Thursday night.  So we brought up a couple of loads from Orem, and got some sleeping bags from our storage unit.  The kids each slept in a sleeping bag on the floor of their new room. Josh and I slept on the air mattress.  Of course it took everyone a long time to get to sleep because we were all pretty excited, but that's ok.  It made for a nicer commute getting the kids to school Friday morning, and we could go pick up the truck.

Friday we started bright and early.  Josh's family was so amazing to all come and help.  First his parents brought more of our stuff in their van from their house.  I was amazed at how much could fit.  With all of the great help, we got everything out of the storage units by mid-afternoon.  By the end of the day on Friday, we had blinds up in all of the bedrooms.  Now I have the fun task of deciding where everything should go.
