This year for the Jensen reunion, we went to Winter Park, Colorado. We drove out on Sunday, July 10th. We took Highway 89 to US Highway 40 which we drove on the rest of the way. It was a really nice drive. We drove through a few small towns and saw people going to church. Highway 40 took us straight to Winter Park. Unfortunately, we did not have directions to the cabin we were staying in, so there was some runaround before we got in touch with someone at the management company to get us a key and directions. The rest of the day we just hung out.
Monday
We went to the Winter Park Resort and did some geocaching. It took us a little while to really get into it, but after the first couple of caches, the kids really liked it and took turns with the GPS device and trying to find each cache.
We went back to the cabin for some lunch, then most headed back to the resort to do the Alpine Slide and some of the other activities they offered at the Resort. One of the favorites was the Cabriolet Lift!
Tuesday
We went to Wolf Park to play our annual kickball game. After the game, we ate lunch, then threw the ball around and hit a pinata. Then, the rain came, so we headed back to the cabin and hung out while it poured outside.
Wednesday
Thursday
We drove home by way of I-70 and Highway 6. I liked the US 40 route better, but we made it home safe and a little tired. We all had such a great time as usual, and Sarah and Jacob did an amazing job putting the reunion together. Thanks everyone!
