Lego Star Wars Party

Fischer LOVES Star Wars, and he LOVES Legos.  So it seems only fitting he wanted a Lego Star Wars Birthday Party.  The video game is not new, so it was difficult finding anything "Lego Star Wars", so most of the stuff I could find pertained more to the Star Wars side of things, but we did some things that related to Legos too.  At least we tried.  Fischer had this whole idea of what he wanted to do at the party and Josh did his best to include his ideas.

When the children first arrived, Fischer wanted them to play the Lego Star Wars game, but they ended up not really doing that at all.  So we just had pizza!

Next began their "Jedi Training"  First, they had to learn to control their minds.  So they did some breathing and meditation exercises.

They actually really got into this.  They were kind of being silly, but it was fun.

After that, they had to train their bodies, so they did an obstacle course, including having to be in a light saber duel with Darth Anderus.

Now that they were more in tune with their bodies, they had to learn to feel the force.  So they went on a Scavenger Hunt to find various Lego Star Wars characters around the house.

They also had to learn to shoot.  So they shot a nerf gun at Darth Sidious.

Next, they had to train with a light saber like Luke did where he was blindfolded and had that sphere shooting at him.  (They were blindfolded and had to hit the pinata.)

The last part of a Jedi's training is making his own lightsaber.  (I neglected to take pictures of this because it was a little crazy, and I was trying to help.)  Finally they received a certificate that they had completed their Jedi training.  Lastly, cake and presents, of course.

It was fun to see all of Fischer's friends interacting.  He has a lot of great friends, and I think they all had a lot of fun!
